Watercolour is my favourite medium to use. I enjoy the freedom it has; I often find it similar to wet felting. I have an abstract style depicting the essence of an environment. I use my watercolour paintings to inspire wet felted wall hangings. I have some of my watercolours available in prints and cards here.
Collaberations
I enjoy collaborating with other artists. I've worked with textile artist Freya Mabel Makes, providing felts in the creation of Scottish wall hangings. Available here

Freya's Studio
I create my own wall hangings, often inspired by Scottish landscapes. I usually work from a photograph I've taken and use watercolours to capture the essence. I then select the naturally dyed wools and carefully place them before wet felting and adding details.

Exhibition
I exhibited in the 'Art of Becoming ', an exhibition which captured the journey of becoming an art therapist. The exhibition took place in July 2026 at Out of the Blue, Drill Hall, Edinburgh. My work captured being held by the 'good enough' presence of Winter in a time of unknown. Through attuning to the micro seasons within Winter, a comfort was felt.
